Licensed New Zealand Immigration Adviser · Licence 202603558
AIM International was built on a simple observation: most people do not fail immigration because they are unqualified. They fail because nobody explained the rules properly.
AIM International was founded by Aimee Salubre Pernites, a Licensed Immigration Adviser who has spent more than a decade on the other side of this process — inside international education, inside recruitment, and inside a consulate.
That background is unusual, and it matters. Most advisers see an application only once it lands on their desk. Aimee has spent years leading international student recruitment for a New Zealand university, managing teams and education partners across Asia, the Middle East and Australasia, and before that served as a Consular Officer handling bilateral matters between New Zealand and the Philippines. She has seen how these decisions are actually made.
The consultancy is deliberately small. It takes on the number of files one adviser can genuinely manage, because an application that sits in a queue is an application that goes wrong. You will not be handed to anyone else.
If you do not qualify, Aimee will tell you on the first call, even when that means there is no work in it for her. An honest ‘not yet’ is worth more than an expensive refusal.
You deal with Aimee directly: her name, her direct line, her email. Your file is never passed to an assistant or anyone junior.
A visa that leads nowhere is a wasted year. Every recommendation is measured against where you want to be in three years, not three months.
In New Zealand it is a criminal offence to give immigration advice without a licence, unless you are a lawyer or fall within a narrow exemption. That protection exists because the industry has a long history of unlicensed operators taking money from people who could least afford to lose it.
Every piece of advice you receive from AIM International comes from a licensed immigration adviser, accountable to the Immigration Advisers Authority, bound by a professional code of conduct, and required to hold a written agreement with you.
If anyone offering you immigration help cannot give you a licence number, walk away.
